Distribution & Breakers
Eatons Arc Fault Circuit Interrupters (AFCIs) use advanced electronic technology to reduce fire hazards in electrical circuits, including connected cords. They meet the requirements of the UL Standard for Safety, UL 1699 for devices that reduce the effects of persistent arcing faults that may pose a risk of fire under certain conditions. Arcing creates high intensity heating at the point of the arc resulting in burning particles that may over time ignite surrounding material, such as wood framing or insulation. The CHFCAF120 is a 20 Amp combination type breaker that includes all the protection of the branch feeder, plus it directly detects persistent low current arcing faults down to 5 Amp to efficiently protect against fire hazards in the cords connected to outlets.
- Combination type includes all the protection of the branch feeder, plus it directly detects persistent low current arcing faults down to 5 Amp to efficiently protect against fire hazards in the cords connected to outlets
- Branch feeder mitigates parallel arcing faults, which produce the most energy of all arcing faults, in the complete circuit including connected cords for enhanced safety
- For use in type CH load centers
- Amp: 20 Amp
Specially designed for easy installation, Eaton's BR load centers house the branch circuit breakers and the wiring required to distribute power to individual circuits. This panel is a main lug panel which is used as sub-panel to add circuits to an existing main breaker panel. Sub panels are often used in a garage, home addition, barn or storage shed and/or workshop. The branch breakers protect the wires leading to individual electrical loads such as fixtures and outlets. The BR48L125SP is a 125 Amp main lug with 4-spaces and 8-circuits.
