Cathodic Protection
- Provide complete cathodic protection for any underground tank installation with this 17-pound magnesium anode bag. It includes 13' of #12 insulated copper wire.
- Also included is an H-1 or an AZ-63 anode. The anode is comprised of 90% magnesium, 6% aluminum, and 3% zinc.
Cathodic protection in underground tank installations is more efficient with this magnesium anode bag. It includes 13' of #12 insulated copper wire and an H-1 or AZ-63 anode that is 90% magnesium, 6% aluminum, and 3% zinc.
The ME690 series dielectric unions are intended to isolate metallic piping from sources of electrical current and to help prevent galvanic corrosion. The ME690 dielectric union would typically be installed at the ASME tank directly downstream of the first stage regulator but prior to underground piping and/or at the inlet of the second stage regulator above ground at the dwelling there by protecting the underground metallic piping from corrosion and electrical current. 1/2 in. MNPT x 1/2 in. Male Flare.
- Convenient male NPT x male SAE flare connection to minimize potential piping leak points and extra fittings
- Compact size for tight spaces
- Wide wrench flats for easy installation
- Will not conduct an electrical charge from one side of the union to the other
- 3-1/2 in. OAL
- Heavy duty brass construction
