The Rochester NOVA air filter is the next generation of extended surface pleated filters. The construction process is automated ensuring consistent quality, uniform appearance and performance. This pleat has eliminated the inconsistencies in pleat spacing, material variations and poor construction common to hand assembled pleated filters. This filter is engineered with only premium materials, eliminated the need for metal support grid found on other pleated filters. The advanced design of if also makes it extremely durable, virtually eliminating shipping and handling damage. The new square pleat tip design provides increased surface contact and added rigidity. The new frame design, couple with the resilient media, allows the new pleat to take considerable abuse from shipping and handling without damage to the filter. The center support strut adds tremendous strength to the frame, producing a tough, rigid filter suitable for long life applications. The NOVA pleat is constructed with 100% synthetic material that is twice the weight of conventional pleated filters. The durable, synthetic media stands up to rough field handling conditions. the thermally bonded synthetic media is not negatively affected by high humidity applications, as is the case with cotton blend pleat media.

Rochester's FP Series fine dust filter is recognized worldwide as the most proven and reliable high technology air filter on the market. Our mini-pleat V-Bank technology has proven to be cost effective and highly efficient in removing a wide variety of contaminants from the air stream in industrial, medical, office and original equipment applications. The FP's unique mini-pleat V-Bank design incorporates 193 square feet of high efficiency media within a 24"x24"x12" (nominal) rigid frame, significantly more than most other high efficiency filters on the market. The extended media surface creates a very low resistance to air flow. The low pressure drop results in lower energy costs and a longer filter life. The FP's rigid design allows it to withstand many unfavorable conditions especially variable air volume (VAV) systems. The FP's unique, inherently stable filter design distributes air evenly across the filter. It allows for large variations in air flow and pressure drop without affecting filter performance and efficiency. The FP performance is not affected by repeated fan shutdowns or changes in air flow velocities. Its rated at continuous air flow rates of 3000 cfm. The FP is designed to handle nearly all types of unusual circumstances: 100% relative humidity, turbulent air flow, intermittent exposure to water, repeated fan shutdown, desert and marine installations.
