Rochester's FP Series fine dust filter is recognized worldwide as the most proven and reliable high technology air filter on the market. Our mini-pleat V-Bank technology has proven to be cost effective and highly efficient in removing a wide variety of contaminants from the air stream in industrial, medical, office and original equipment applications. The FP's unique mini-pleat V-Bank design incorporates 193 square feet of high efficiency media within a 24"x24"x12" (nominal) rigid frame, significantly more than most other high efficiency filters on the market. The extended media surface creates a very low resistance to air flow. The low pressure drop results in lower energy costs and a longer filter life. The FP's rigid design allows it to withstand many unfavorable conditions especially variable air volume (VAV) systems. The FP's unique, inherently stable filter design distributes air evenly across the filter. It allows for large variations in air flow and pressure drop without affecting filter performance and efficiency. The FP performance is not affected by repeated fan shutdowns or changes in air flow velocities. Its rated at continuous air flow rates of 3000 cfm. The FP is designed to handle nearly all types of unusual circumstances: 100% relative humidity, turbulent air flow, intermittent exposure to water, repeated fan shutdown, desert and marine installations.
Flanders Pre Pleat 40 LPD extended surface pleated filters are designed to operate in most types of installation. These filters have an average atmospheric dust spot efficiency range of 25-30% per ASHRAE Standard 52.1 test methods. These filters offer greater efficiency and service life than disposable filters, pad and frame systems, or metal washable filters. Operating face velocity ranges are from 0 to 500 fpm for 2" filters. The Rochester Synthetic Pocket filter is constructed with a moisture resistant, ultrasonically welded media. The synthetic media consists of strategically layered and blended melt-blown polypropylene fibers fastened to a non-shed, high density polypropylene backing. This design creates a dual-stage filtration effect with the final layer capturing the smaller particulate from the air stream. The patented ultrasonic welding process allows Rochester to manufacture a product without creating stich holes in the media and still be able to provide an increase in surface area. Vertical separators are incorporated into each pocket to effectively channel air throughout the media to prevent excessive turbulence and allow even contaminant loading throughout the life of the filter. The header is constructed of 26 gauge galvanized steel with rolled edges to provide rigid support to the filter face and allow for easier handling. The Synthetic Pocket filter offers high efficiency filtration while maintaining low resistance to air flow.
