They have a sturdy galvanized steel construction and are simple to adjust. They are also crimped on one end to easily fit into a pipe or other fitting of the same diameter.

The Master Flow 6 in. Starting Collar is suitable for most HVAC applications. It provides a transition from a flat surface like a plenum (made from metal or lined duct) to round pipe or insulated flexible duct. A Damper can be added to this model if needed.
