The thermostatic element ensures optimal, consistent performance over a wide range of temperatures. The temperature operating range is 80 to 120 degree F (27 to 49 degree C) and the maximum operating pressure is 125 psi (862 kPa).

It features a rough bronze finish, 3/8 in. compression connections, corrosion resistant internal components, integral checks to prevent cross flow, and inlet screens to filter out debris. The temperature adjustment stem is simple to adjust and has a locking nut to prevent unauthorized or accidental adjustment. Factory temperature is set at 105 degree F (40.6 degree C).
