Custom Building Products Custom Blend 50 lbs. Standard Thin-Set Mortar offers economy with good bond strength for most tile projects and is recommended for floor installations. Good for setting Saltillo and other similar clay pavers. Offers good working time to apply and adjust tiles. For increased performance, use Custom Building Products' Thin-Set Admix Concentrate or Thin-Set Mortar Admix when bonding dense tiles (porcelain and glass) or setting over Exterior Grade Plywood (EGP), existing tile and for exterior applications.
- For installations over concrete floors
- Mix with thin-set admix for higher bond strengths
- Covers up to 90 sq. ft. depending on installation practices and jobsite conditions
- Meets ANSI A118.1 without additives and meets ANSI A118.4 and A118.11 when mixed with acrylic mortar admix
- Suitable for ceramic, porcelain, glass, natural stone tile, as well as other tile types
- Allow 24 hours before grouting and light traffic, and 7-10 days before heavy or vehicular traffic.
