This built-in safety feature cuts the hard-start off from the system in the event of a part failure, protecting the compressor from damage and potential failure. The patented CPT terminal is exclusively on AmRad-made capacitors and hard-starts; specifically, 40+ MFD single-value and 20/3+MFD dual-value capacitors.These USA-made capacitors have a double-rolled cover that provides a leak-proof enclosure and are encapsulated in a thick non-PCB dielectric fluid to reduce heat.Backed by a 5-year warranty.
