    ROBERTS AirGuard Premium Underlayment is ideal for use under laminate and engineered wood flooring. It features an innovative AirFlow Technology that releases trapped moisture as a vapor to prevent damage to floors and subfloors. Its 3-layer design protects laminate and engineered hardwood flooring: The top layer is made of an impermeable film that keeps moisture away from flooring; the middle layer consists of thousands of cushioning, stabilizing polyshims that support the finished flooring; and the bottom layer is a permeable film that wicks moisture up from concrete or wood subfloors. ROBERTS AirGuard is the first underlayment to include MICROBAN antimicrobial protection to safeguard the floors against moisture, mold, mildew and odor-causing bacteria. Recommended for residential and commercial applications, AirGuard is made in the USA.

    • For use under laminate flooring & engineered wood flooring, and on the following substrates: Cured concrete, interior plywood, & properly prepared OSB (skim coat may be required)
    • Material composition: Clear film bottom, polyshim center, and blue moisture barrier top
    • Manufactured with a unique AirFlow Technology that releases trapped moisture as a vapor to prevent damage to floors and subfloors
    • Roll size 100 ft.2 (9.3 m2) / Roll width 40 in. (1.02 m) / Roll length 30 ft. (9.14 m)
    • Offers premium cushioning and leveling with a 2 mm thickness that eliminates minor subfloor imperfections, and softens the hardness of the floor’s surface
    • Designed with a self-sealing lip and tape system that helps to ensure the ultimate moisture barrier
    • Featuring MICROBAN antimicrobial protection for industrial-grade mold and mildew defense above, on, and below grade
    • Exceeds sound-dampening requirements with a STC score of 67, an IIC score of 68 and DELTA IIC of 20
    • Ideal for use with radiant heat flooring, with added R-Value of 0.432
    • Made in the USA for residential and commercial applications
