• Ultrasonically welded and riveted for robust assembly security
• Shutter mechanism inside the receptacle blocks access to the contacts unless a 2-prong plug is inserted, helping ensure hairpins, keys, etc. will be locked out
• Receptacles meet 2011 NEC requirements for dwelling units (406.12), guest rooms (406.13) and child care facilities (406.14)
• Impact-resistant thermoplastic construction
