Accurately detect water and protect against damaging mold with the General Tools MMD7NP Moisture meter. This non-invasive, non-marring water leak detector has separate settings for drywall, masonry, softwoods, and hardwoods, making it ideal for detecting moisture under finished surfaces. The jumbo backlit 2 in. diagonal LCD screen and tricolor LED bar graph deliver clear and easy-to-read results. This detector is self-calibrating and offers a 3/4 in. (20mm) maximum sensing depth with +/- 4 percent accuracy on wood. It has moisture measurement ranges of 0 to 53 percent for softwood and 0 to 35% for hardwood and produces relative readings for wallboard and masonry. The moisture meter features a hold button, auto-power-off function, out-of-range alarm, and low-battery indication. It is powered by an included 9-Volt battery.
