AprilAire helps create Healthy Air environments with the Model 2210 20 in. x 25 in. Media Air Cleaner with MERV 13 Air Filter. This air purifier works within the existing heating and cooling system to efficiently and effectively remove dust, mold spores, pollen, bacteria, pet dander, and dust mites throughout the home. The included MERV 13 air filter is 4 in. thick with a large surface area for capturing pollutants and offering superior filtration to typical 1 in. filters. (Also compatible with AprilAire 210 Clean Air Filter, 213CBN Odor Reduction Air Filter, and 216 Allergy and Asthma Air Filter-not included.) Filtering out airborne contaminants helps clean the air and can lower the frequency of cleaning and vacuuming by reducing dust build up around the house. It also maximizes the lifespan of heating and cooling systems, which can become inefficient with dust and particle build up. Patented AprilAire Self-Seal Technology reduces the amount of air bypassing the filter. The included MERV 13 air filter should be replaced every 12 months, (lifespan varies for other air filter models), and it's easy to swap out thanks to the AprilAire Pure Fit Promise and patented Interlock Rail System that lets the filter slide right into place.
