Oval head machine screws are conical with a domed top and tapers underneath to 80 degree to 82 degree . Machine screws are used with nuts or screwed directly into a tapped hole to fasten components together. Length of oval head is measured from edge of head (where countersink meets dome) to the point of the screw. Use standard Phillips screwdriver.
