Pan head machine screws have wide heads, a flat bearing surface and a slightly domed top surface. Machine screws are used with nuts or screwed directly into a tapped hole to fasten components together. Length of pan head machine screws are measured from underneath the head to the point of the screw. Use standard Phillips screwdriver.
