This Window Opening Control Device (WOCD) is mounted to the top sash on a single or double hung wood window. This Standard Retrofit Angel Ventlock is an ideal limit control device for use in aftermarket applications. This model fits into the stile of the top sash and must be mounted to restrict the bottom sash opening to less than four inches so small children do not fall out of the window from the second floor and higher. These units are single action, so installing one on each side of the sash ensures compliance with the code ASTM F2090-2008 and 2010. Select this WOCD by measuring the window gap between the top sash and the bottom sash is 5/16" to 11/32" distance with a Shallow Bend. Sold in left and right hand pairs with screws and instructions included.
