This Window Opening Control Device (WOCD) is used on any single/double hung or sliding window. This Dual Action WOCD is an ideal limit control device for use in aftermarket applications. This plastic model is mounted to the window jamb frame extension or return to restrict the sash opening to less than four inches so small children do not fall out of the window from the second floor and higher. These units are Dual Action meaning that two separate actions are required to operate the WOCD. So installing one on the window frame ensures compliance with the code ASTM F2090-2008 and 2010. Right Handed with screws and instructions included.
