Product Overview
It is recommended that the carbon media in your system be replaced every 5 years. The expired media is environmentally friendly. As such, it does not require any special methods of disposal.
- This media replacement process is straightforward and can be completed in less than an hour
- Disconnect the tank from the bypass valve assembly and unscrew the distributor head from the tank by hand, then dump or vacuum out the expired media
- Pour the new replacement media in the tank with the funnel provided
- Follow the start-up media soaking and rinsing instructions outlined in the owners manual
