Product Overview
These heavy-duty vises meet Federal Specifications GGG-V-410, Type IV. Each vise casting is constructed in 65,000 psi tensile ductile iron. The large pounding anvil surface and deep throat allow for extra working room. Replaceable hardened steel pipe jaws, self-adjusting pipe jaws are designed to grip pipe securely. The pipe jaw design helps prevent pipe marring, crushing or bending. Pipe jaws are recessed to allow for machinist's vise use. The interlocking swivel base with 360 degree motion is equipped with 2 lockdowns. A continuous rolled thread on main screw features a no pinch main screw handle. The serrated jaws are replaceable hardened steel.
