Product Overview
The Wide Mouth Dryer Vent Kit includes a 4 in. wide mouth exhaust hood, 4 in. x 8 ft. dryer transition duct and 2 plastic adjustable clamps. The exhaust hood features a robust, wide mouth cap for optimum airflow and snug fit back draft damper that prevents cold air, snow or rain from entering the home. Additional features of the hood include a removable pest screen that helps to keep pests out and allows for easy cleaning of the duct.
- Dryer transition duct in this kit is UL 2158A listed and marked for safe dryer venting
- "Snap on" pipe to cap assembly eliminates the need for lint trapping staples
- UV resistant coating on the cap helps to prevent the cap from discoloring
