Product Overview
The Eaton Cutler-Hammer 20 Amp 1 in. Single-Pole Type BR Replacement Circuit Breaker is designed to protect house wires from overheating or causing a short-circuit. Single pole breaker applications include use with dishwashers, waste disposals, refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, televisions and window air conditioners. The UL-listed breaker is compatible with Westinghouse, Challenger and Bryant load centers and has a maximum load of 240-Volt.
- Primary function of a circuit breaker is to protect the wire from overheating (overload) and fault currents (short circuit)
- Amperage rating: 20 Amp
- Single pole 1 in. wide breaker
- Trips to center position - must turn off then turn back on
- For use in type BR load centers
- Type BR breakers are UL approved genuine replacement breakers for load centers made by Westinghouse, Challenger and Bryant
- Interrupt rating - 10 kAIC
- Voltage rating is 120/240-Volt
- Wire size - #14-4 AWG Cu/Al at 60 degree C or 75 degree C
