This switch allows you to schedule lights and fans to turn on and off at specific times, ensuring you arrive to a well-lit home and giving the impression that someone is home when you're away by randomizing the on/off times. Additionally, it helps save energy by making sure lights and fans are turned off when not needed. Customize routines to fit your lifestyle by setting up multiple schedules for any day of the week or different combinations of days. The built-in astronomical clock automatically adjusts to local sunrise and sunset times based on your location, and the Daylight-Saving feature updates the time in spring and fall. For manual control, simply press the switch to turn lights on and off as needed. This timer switch is ideal for porch, patio, and landscape lights, pool and pond pumps, interior lighting, ceiling fans and exhaust fans. It supports single pole (one location) or multi-way (two or more locations) setups when used with the VP0SR Switch Companion. It is compatible with 600-Watt LED and CFL, 1800-Watt Incandescent and Halogen, 15-Amp Fluorescent Ballast, and 1 HP Motor. Use with Decora Wallplate or Decora Plus Screwless Wallplate, sold separately. Includes ivory and light almond faceplates.
