This is an easy, inexpensive solution to an outlet that is either spongy when plug is inserted or is recessed and lines up poorly with receptacle openings in wall plate. Helps prevent shock, fire or shorting due to outlet movement. Great for remodel projects, and installation of tile or paneling.
