Return to School Safely

Resources for Healthier Schools

From touch-free products to personal protective equipment, we have what you need to help provide a clean and healthy learning environment for students and staff.

Tips for Reopening Schools1

The CDC offers the following considerations for ways schools can help protect students and staff.

  • Support healthy hygiene by providing adequate supplies, including soap, hand sanitizer with at least 60 percent alcohol, paper towels, tissues, disinfectant wipes, cloth face coverings and no-touch/foot-pedal trash cans.
  • Teach and reinforce use of cloth face coverings. Face coverings should be worn by staff and students and are essential when physical distancing is difficult.
  • Teach and reinforce handwashing with soap and water for at least 20 seconds and increase monitoring to ensure adherence among students and staff.
  • Post signs in highly-visible locations that promote protective measures to stop the spread of germs.
