The NIBCO Press System ball valve includes a drain. The body is manufactured from lead free. Brass alloy and is dezincification resistant (DZR). The ball valve is designed with press-to-connect end connections with an inboard bead and EPDM O-ring for quick and easy copper to copper joinery. Properly applying pressure from a press-fit tool tightens the O-ring onto the tube, ensuring a clean, permanent, watertight seal in seconds, with no flame, solder or flux. The NIBCO Press System is user friendly, quick and easy to install. When properly crimped a unique N witness mark is clearly visible. The lead free ball valve is specifically designed for use in systems that deliver water for human consumption. The NIBCO Press System pressure rated metal valves to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of five (5) years from date put into service with the exception of models PC-FP-600A-LF for which a two (2) year warranty period from date put into service applies.
