The Pro Series Dual Float Switch with Enhanced Controller is one in a line of many Pro Series float switches available for sump pump applications. The mid-level Pro Series Dual Float Switch with Enhanced Controller (DFC1.5) is designed for reliability and flexibility. It has not one, but two micro reed switches. The second float switch, which acts as a fail-safe to provide redundancy, is unique and the most dependable in the industry. It has a protective cage that prevents debris from interfering with the floats, a solid top to keep out sand or dirt, and a vented-curved bottom to prevent build-up under the float. The dual float switch simply mounts to the discharge pipe at the activation height of your choosing with the included stainless steel hose clamp. The DFC1.5 is a piggy-back float switch making compatible with most sump pumps. For easy installation the float switch cord can be unplugged from the controller, the run time is adjustable (after the float drops), and the controller has universal mounting tabs. For enhanced user functionality, the DFC1.5 exercises your sump pump weekly to extend pump life and has a system operating light to display that the control box is operating properly.
