The NIBCO 3 in. ABS DWV Hub x MIPT Male Adapter is used above-ground in Drain, Waste and Vent (DWV) non-pressurized sanitary systems which remove water-borne waste and waste water from appliances and fixtures. This adapter adapts ABS to standard female pipe threads. ABS DWV is joined by solvent cementing or threading and can easily be connected to steel, copper, or cast iron through the use of transition fittings.

• The NIBCO 3 in. ABS DWV adapter fitting is an excellent high strength, high impact thermoplastic material ideal for use in residential and commercial drain, waste and vent systems
• For above-ground DWV
• Join ABS to standard female pipe threads using solvent (do not use primer with ABS)
• CSA B181.1, ASTM D2665, ASTM D3965, ASTM D2661 and D3311, UL listed 94V-0, NSF/ANSI standard 14, NSF U.P. certified
• Service temperature -40F to 180F, do not test or use with compressed air or other gases

NIBCO INC. warrants each NIBCO plumbing plastic fitting (including plumbing valves) to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of five (5) years from date of purchase.
