It has a large float that rests vertically on a rod with minimal movement and sealed gold contacts for reliable high cycle operation. The vertical switch simply mounts to the discharge pipe at the activation height of your choosing with the included stainless steel hose clamp. The VSC2 is a piggy-back switch making it compatible with most sump, sewage, and effluent pumps. For easy installation the float switch can be unplugged from the controller, the run time is adjustable (after the float drops), and the controller has universal mounting tabs. For superior user features, the VSC2 exercises the pump weekly to extend pump life and has a system operating light to display that the control box is operating properly.
